Dera Ghazi Khan
(From Nouman Hafeez) 8 billion 95 crore 90 million will be spent on development
projects in the tribal areas of Dera Ghazi Khan and Rrajan Pur districts.
Initial funds of Rs 80 crore have been allocated in the budget under the Tribal
Area Development Project. A program to eradicate poverty of South Punjab will
be launched in six districts, including Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh and
Rajarajan Pur, which has been estimated. Funds have been placed in the budget
for this. Commissioner Dera Ghazi Khan Division Mudasir Riaz Malik said that
multi sectoral nutrition centers would be set up in 12 districts including Dera
division which would cost Rs 55 crore. The Commissioner said that Punjab
Government has allocated Rs. 14 billion in the budget for 78 planning and
development projects of which 45 will be started and 30 new projects will be
started.
